Mimer is partnering with NEVS, a leading provider of on-demand mobility services with self-driving vehicles. NEVS has been choosing collaborators like Mimer to be able to develop a complete integrated system of purpose-built autonomous vehicles, platforms, and services that combine to form a mobility ecosystem.
Both parties see a strong need to improve sustainability and reduce energy expenditure through efficiency of computing and data handling for world of electric, connected, and autonomous vehicles.
The objective of the collaboration is to demonstrate a proof-of-concept model that improves energy and computing power efficient data management in-vehicle and in-cloud. But also, to provide the vehicle with data that is secure from manipulation, forgery and denial of service – at rest, in use, and in transit.
